These terms cover the Lovefold website and email waitlist only — not the Lovefold app, which will have its own terms when it launches. Lovefold is pre-launch, and this is a plain-English draft that we'll finalize with legal review before launch.
1. Scope
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lovefold website at lovefold.app (the "Site") and our pre-launch email waitlist. They do not cover the Lovefold mobile app, which will be governed by separate terms when it launches. By using the Site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms.
2. Who we are
"Lovefold" ("we", "us", "our") is a pre-launch project building an app for couples. We have not yet finalized our legal company details; this section will be updated once we do. You can reach us any time at support@lovefold.app.
3. The waitlist
Joining the waitlist means giving us your email address so we can send you launch updates and your invite when we're ready. It does not create an account, involve any payment, or guarantee that you'll receive an invite or that the app will launch on any particular date — or at all. What we collect and why is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Who can join
You must be 13 or older to join the waitlist — teens are welcome. If you're under 18, please make sure it's okay under the laws where you live and, where required, that a parent or guardian is aware. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13; see our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Please use the Site fairly and lawfully. In particular, don't: submit an email address that isn't yours or that you don't have permission to use; sign up in bulk or using bots or automated scripts; scrape, overload, or disrupt the Site; or try to break, probe, or bypass our security, or access data that isn't yours.
6. Our content
The Site's content — including the Lovefold name, logo, the Momo mascot, text, and design — belongs to us. Please don't copy, reuse, or repurpose it without our permission.
7. The Site is provided "as is"
The Site is a pre-launch preview offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, pause, or take it down at any time, and we don't promise it will always be available or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lovefold is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or the waitlist. This section will be finalized with legal review before launch.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll change the "last updated" date above, and where a change is significant we'll do our best to flag it. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
